Rehabilitation Ninja

Most people know me as a strong and hard-working person. But in the summer of 2023, that suddenly changed. After a heart attack, I suffered a stroke, which resulted in severe brain damage and left-sided paralysis. As a result, my life turned 180 degrees.

Weeks of hospitalization were followed by months of rehabilitation, during which I underwent countless therapies and quite literally got back on my feet. I regained many of the functions we consider normal.

Neurofatigue after brain injury is not immediately visible, but it creates obstacles to living a normal life.

Conventional healthcare concluded that I was finished with treatment and now had to learn to live with my limitations. I accepted that my life would never be the same as it was, but I am persistent and capable of much more than conventional healthcare thinks. There was one other option: treatment at Cognitivefx in Utah, USA. The treatment helped me make tremendous progress and set me on a new mission to make this treatment accessible to more people.
